SIDE Product Roadmap 2011
Our ambition is to provide a complete support for last Alfresco version and to extend SIDE to other frameworks.
Please feel free to create sub section on this page and add you requirements in details
Q1 2011 (Hydrogen)
Hydrogen will contain
- a SIDE release for Alfresco 3.4 for the end of Q1. Done!
- Git support for the whole SIDE source tree to enable developers to write generators and deployers for these technologies. Done!
Q2 2011 (Helium)
Tentative target release date: 6/30/11
Initially scheduled for the end of Q1, SIDE-Labs will provide a technical infrastructure for these other frameworks for the end of Q2:
- SIDE-Share bootstrap:
- RIA: dojo, ExtJS
- RCP (based on Eclipse) - will be delayed for Q3
- WebOS
- SIDE On The Cloud for Testing purposes
Q3 2011 (Lithium)
Concerning SIDE-Share, Helium should contain:
- a beta release based on dojo and ExtJS
- an alpha release based on dojo, ExtJS, jQuery and Vaadin
- an alpha RCP (based on Eclipse and web views)
- an alpha WebOS, based on ExtJS and qWikiOffice Desktop
- an alpha Portal, based on Liferay
SIDE for Mobile
- Appcelerator support
- Phonegap support
SIDE for ECM
The goal is to provide other JCR and CMIS support than Alfresco:
- but still Alfresco 3.5 (?) and jBPM support
- an alpha Jack Rabbit and OpenChemistry support
- an alpha Activiti support
SIDE for Web
- SIDE for Web, with SQL and NoSQL support
Q4 2011 (Berylium)
- final release SIDE for Mobile, based on Appcelerator first
- final release SIDE for Web, based on dojo, jQuery, Vaadin (ExtJS?)
