SIDE Cloud Service

What is it?

SIDE Cloud Service is a set of web utilities to directly browse your Alfresco assets such as forms, search forms and views, generated -or not- with SIDE. See it in action. These components may be reused directly in Alfresco Share or any application able to manage REST services.

How To Get a Key?

This is a community service which needs an API key from SIDE-Labs.org. Registration is FREE. To get an API key, just send a mail with your information (Desired username, Firstname, Lastname, Email) to cloud@side-labs.org and I will send you a key.

How to use it

The SIDE console is available as a web application. Go to http://cloud.bluexml.com/console and provide the information related to your application, consisting of your Alfresco application address, your Alfresco Share application address, your alfresco credentials and the namespaces you defined for your data model and your views.

How Does It Work?

Then, your browser will access your Alfresco repository, directly or through Alfresco Share. In any cases, no information is sent on our server or accross the network. Information is only communicated beetween your browser and your Alfresco repository.

Available Tools

Currently, SIDE-Cloud provides:

• a SIDE Console, which provides all the elements, generated or not with SIDE (forms, search forms, views, ...), which are available. This requires you install SIDE-StandaAlone on Alfresco.
• a Data Grid web service, which provides an integration of ExtJS with SIDE views

SIDE Alfresco

What is it for?

SIDE Alfresco is a set of tools for developers, based on Eclipse, to produce 80% of your user requirements in 5% of the time you would normally need. It lets you time to focus on the 20% to do or to increase your margin. You choose or your competitors will.

Why not developing by hand?

Because it's very time consuming and you don't need to reinvent the wheel.
