Introduction

The last 3.1.0b SIDE-Labs version works with Alfresco 3.x which means 3.2r2, 3.3 and 3.4d. It should work with 3.4e.

Installation

Download SIDE for Alfresco:

Download SIDE-Build on sf.net, choose the version corresponding to your operating system:
- Download SIDE for Alfresco 3.2.0a for Windows
- Download SIDE for Alfresco 3.2.0a for MacOSX
- Download SIDE for Alfresco 3.2.0a for Linux

SIDE-Run extensions are still the same, so you can take the previous ones.

Install just downloaded software:

Install SIDE for Alfresco by just uncompressing it in the directory of your choice
Install Alfresco 3.4d
Move xforms.war and facetmap.war in Alfresco/tomcat/webapps directory.
Start Alfresco, so everything is deployed and ready
Stop Alfresco

You can now design your application. To get started with your first SIDE application, go to Getting Started

That's all, you don't need to go further unless you want more information on binary and source distribution.

SIDE-Labs is available as an RCP. Download the one corresponding to your platform on source forge.

SIDE-Labs releases quite often in fact some patches and bug fixes. To not download again all the package, just define the following update site.
